Dear Educational Leaders:
This letter is to inform you that my doctor has recommended special education services for my son’s disability of visual learning disorder. I too suspect that my child has a learning disability that impedes his learning.
I consider myself to be a involved and supportive parents, however, when I provided the doctors report to Mr/Mrs.(put principal names), I was taken aback by his/hers lack of understanding and professionalism.
Please accept this letter as a formal request for a child study meeting and if needed, additional evaluations to identify all areas of suspected disabilities.
If you are unwilling to grant the request in this letter please provide me with written documentation outlining your refusal.
Sincerely
Your name
